🇲🇼🇪🇺 Togeth­er with the @EU_Commission and @MalawiGovt, we’re upgrad­ing over 300km of Malawi’s M1 Road.

In line with the EU’s #Glob­al­Gate­way strat­e­gy for Africa, this project will improve:
✔️trans­porta­tion
✔️region­al trade
✔️access to vital ser­vices for thou­sands of Malawians.

  • Ensure that pub­lic roads are con­struct­ed, main­tained or reha­bil­i­tat­ed at all times;
  • Advise the Min­is­ter and, where appro­pri­ate, the Min­is­ter respon­si­ble for Local Gov­ern­ment on the prepa­ra­tion and the effi­cient and effec­tive imple­men­ta­tion of the Annu­al Nation­al Roads Pro­gramme referred to in sec­tion 22 of the Roads Author­i­ty Act.
